Thermoplastic Roofing (TPO)

Thermoplastic Roofing (TPO) membranes are produced by calendaring with lamination and extrusion-coating techniques. TPO sheets are a blend of polypropylene and ethylene propylene polymers and usually are reinforced with polyester. TPO sheets contain flame retardants, UV absorbers and other properties to form a protective cover on flat rooms.

Sheets range from 6 feet to 12 feet wide and are between 40 and 100 mils thick. Seams are sealed by heat welded with hot air. Considered the standard bearer for flat commercial roofs by many people in the industry, TRS has a high degree of competency installing TPO roofing systems.
